Seminar on Plastic Pollution in Forests and Other Natural Ecosystem

Arannayk Foundation in association with the Institution of Foresters Bangladesh (IFB) organized a Seminar on Plastic Pollution in Forests and Other Natural Ecosystem on 21 June 2023 at the Shoilopropat Conference Room, Parjatan Bhaban. Dr. Farhina Ahmed, Hon'ble Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change graced the event as the Chief Guest virtually. Mr. Md. Iqbal Abdullah Harun, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Mr. Md. Amir Hosain Chowdhury, Chief Conservator of Forests, Forest Department attended as Special Guests.

The President of the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) Mr. Shiblul Azam Koreshi shared his experience and the roles of tour operators in responsible tourism.

Workshop on Carbon Trading Opportunities in AFOLU Sector Projects: Access to International Voluntary Carbon Markets

Arannayk Foundation on July 25, 2023, at Bana Bhaban, organized a Stakeholder Workshop on Carbon Trading Opportunities in AFOLU Sector Projects: Access to International Voluntary Carbon Markets under a study to assess the institutional arrangements for accessing the international carbon market for afforestation investments supported by the World Bank.
