Hon'ble Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Mr. Iqbal Abdullah Harun as the Special Guest spoke at the event.

The Executive Director of Arannayk Foundation Rakibul Hasan Mukul chaired the Workshop.

Arannayk Foundation under USAID's GREEN LIFE Project, organized a workshop titled Natural Resources Conservation in Bangladesh: Scope of Private Sector Engagement on Saturday, 29 April 2023 at The Westin Dhaka. 

Dr. Muhammad Khan, Director of the Economic Growth Office, USAID Bangladesh graced the workshop as the Chief Guest.

Mr. Fazlul Hoque, Former President of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BKMEA) attended as a Special Guest.

Mr. Md. Shahidullah Azim, Vice President of the Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGMEA) attended as a Special Guest.

Ms. Farah Shahrookh Raza, Head of Marketing and Branding, BSRM was also present at the workshop as the Guest of Honour. 

Mr. Rakibul Hasan Mukul, Executive Director of Arannayk Foundation chaired the workshop and delivered the welcome speech. 

Mr. Shahadat Hossain Shakil, Environment and Climate Change Specialist, Economic Growth Office, USAID Bangladesh conveyed the closing remarks at the workshop. 

Mr. Masud Alam Khan, Head of Programs of Arannayk Foundation presented the Keynote paper before the audience. 

Stakeholders from the Private sector including Directors of FBCCI, the President, Former President, Vice President, Secretary and other representatives from BGMEA, BKMEA, BPGMEA, TOAB, BGAPMEA, Bangladesh Tanners Association, Bangladesh Finished Leather, Leather Goods, and Footwear Exporters' Association, Bangladesh Timbers Merchants Association, Women Entrepreneurs Network for Development Association-WEND, Bangladesh Jewellers Association, and CEO's & MDs, Directors, Managers of renowned conglomerates including Unilever Bangladesh, BAT Bangladesh, Pran-RFL, Well Group, City Group, Renata Ltd., Robi, Grameen Phone, BSRM, Mati Organics, Century Travels, Khan Accessories, Unique Hotel & Restaurant, Lama Rubber Industry Ltd,  Recycle Jar Ecosystem, Treasure and Tourism Ltd. attended the workshop and participated in the open discussion on keynote. 

Arannayk Foundation in association with the Institution of Foresters Bangladesh (IFB) organized a Seminar on Plastic Pollution in Forests and Other Natural Ecosystem on 21 June 2023 at the Shoilopropat Conference Room, Parjatan Bhaban. Dr. Farhina Ahmed, Hon'ble Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change graced the event as the Chief Guest virtually. Mr. Md. Iqbal Abdullah Harun, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Mr. Md. Amir Hosain Chowdhury, Chief Conservator of Forests, Forest Department attended as Special Guests.

Mr. Mostafa Yousuf, Staff Correspondent, The Daily Star delivered another Keynote paper at the seminar.

The President of the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) Mr. Shiblul Azam Koreshi shared his experience and the roles of tour operators in responsible tourism.
